Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     WHO YOU ARE:
    • A WA state licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a proven track record of great outcomes and a willingness to learn and grow as a therapist.
    • You have obtained your ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
    • A passionate therapist looking to connect with your community, create a unique and innovative patient experience and establish meaningful connections
    • A therapist capable of building strong rapport with clients and families from a variety of backgrounds through strong communication and empathy
    • Ability to utilize new technology and software changes in the industry to enhance the client’s engagement and increase efficiency
    • Availability for Saturday hours as needed to help serve the community during times parents and caregivers can attend visits with their child.
     
    PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
    • Base salary: $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
