Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor jobs in Kent, WA

Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor provides professional guidance and operational oversight to a team of speech and language pathologists. Plans and implements programs and procedures and evaluates program objectives and results. Being a Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages daily operations and logistics. Develops and leads staff development and training activities that support best practices. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor requires a master's degree in speech pathology or equivalent. Requires ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and applicable State License to Practice. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a position in a school district located in Roy. The SLP will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders and disabilities.
    Overview:

    • Full Time
    • 5 Days a Week
    • 35 Hours Per Week
    • Start: As Soon As Possible
    • End: June 14, 2024

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
    • Provide therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
    • Collaborate with other members of the education team to develop and implement IEPs and provide support to students.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
    • Active Washington SLP license
    • Experience working with children in a school setting
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
