Recommend visual aids that will assist in speeches/presentations when needed. • Set standards for a message’s content, consistency and tone• Draft, edit and proofread newsletters, ads, brochures, news releases, event scripts, etcQualifications• This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of communications experience in a professional setting. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in producing high-quality speeches and presentations. All applicants for the position are asked to submit a portfolio of material to demonstrate their capabilities in speechwriting and presentations.• Needs to be able to write in a conversational tone, so a speaker sounds to his audience as if he's speaking in a non-scripted manner• Good researcher and fact-checker, and should demonstrate great attention to detail. • Excellent command of the English language• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines• Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously• Ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities• A passion for women’s economic opportunities• BA is mandatory.
