Responsible for managing the administrative activities of the program including identifying funding sources, acquiring funding, setting program policies and objectives, and allocating resources. Being a Sponsored Programs Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sponsored Programs Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Position Summary

Carrying out the overall Resource Development Department strategic vision, the Director of Development for Programs coaches and fully supports program leadership through a process designed to enhance each program’s ability to attain financial security through philanthropy.
