  • Qualifications:

    • Must have excellent communication skills and be well-presented, polite, tactful, and friendly.
    • Ability to resolve complaints and difficult situations calmly and patiently.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a managerial/supervisory role
    • Must be proactive and professional with the ability to set and achieve goals.
    • Computer literate and ability to easily navigate Microsoft Office Suite
    • Previous cash handling experience

    License Requirements:

    • Must be licensed by the RI Department of Business Regulation

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Assists the Sports Book Manager in daily operations.
    • Explains wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests as needed.
    • Approves over the limit wagers for the property in absence of manager and approve low limit comps.
    • Approves and refuses wagers from customers.
    • Updates and maintains all customer sheets.
    • Monitors all monies being wagered and updates the betting odds according to company policy.
    • Accurately issue and redeem betting slips for guests while providing gaming information and abiding by all gaming regulations/requirements.
    • Maintains & continually updates knowledge of regulations.
    • Knows and abides by policies, procedures, internal controls and courtesy guidelines.
    • Performs all duties in accordance with state gaming regulations.
    • Handles guest disputes quickly and effectively within the level of their authority.
    • Assists with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling employees.
    • Promotes safety awareness to minimize work related injuries.
    • Maintains knowledge of property information.
    • Ensures compliance with the federal currency transaction reporting requirements.

    Physical/Mental Requirements:

    • Constant standing and walking and occasional sitting.
    • Frequent talking and hearing
    • Occasional lifting, carrying, stooping, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination.

    Working Conditions:

    • Regularly exposed to smoke, bright lights, and noise
