MS RN Start date: ASAP Ratios: Days – 1:5. Nights 1:6 Years of experience REQ: 1 year of experience required First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Every other weekend Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS and NIH preferred. All certifications/licensure specified in job description must be sent with submission. Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, to other MS units. Will float to specialty areas, however will only be required to practice within their scope. Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? Pending License accepted: Must have state/compact license in hand. RTO Restrictions: 1 request – Finalized RTO sent at time of submission. No RTO within first two weeks of start date, no more than 10 days. No full calendar weeks of RTO accepted. Guaranteed Hours: 8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week 10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week 12 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week Special Requirements: Experience with the following patient diagnoses - Pneumonia, appendicitis, cholecystitis, small bowel obstructions, substance withdrawals, UTI, post-op joint arthroplasties, post-op TURPs, osteomyelitis, COVID, stroke/TIAs, chest pain, sepsis, traumas based of severity (sacral, hip, knee, arm, ankle), OBS Telemetry Other/Notes: The Med/surg unit is directly adjacent to the 6-bed ICU. With the covid outbreak, a negative pressure unit was implemented that includes some ICU beds and some Med/Surg beds. There is also a Telemetry Tech 24/7 in house to monitor telemetry strips and continuous pulse oximetry readings on patients.
