General Description
The Job Coordinator is responsible for communicating with the clients from the reporting of an incident/opening of a job to the final payment after the job has been completed. The Job Coordinator works closely with the estimators, sales team, project managers, field supervisors, field technicians, clients, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and sub-contractors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Mitigation Coordinating, Billing, and Accounts Receivable. This role will also provide some support to the different offices, and as such, perform a comprehensive range of procedural functions and occasional clerical, administrative tasks and schedule permits.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Establish and maintain claims in project management software (DASH).
· Coordinate and dispatch emergency response teams for losses or jobs.
· Provide job reports, status updates and general communications with clients.
· Secure and maintain all insurance information, contracts and other documents for processing losses.
· Create estimates and follow up with clients.
· Prepare and disseminate billing to customers.
· Ensure compliance or required documents procured/processed.
· Communicate, liaison and coordinate with all applicable parties via phone, email, and letters.
· Negotiates settlements, resolves billing disputes with clients and adjusters.
· Ensure all receivables are collected.
· Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and prn reports for other departments and upper management.
· Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably directed and required.
Requirements
· Minimum of associate's degree preferred in a business-related field preferred; experience can be substituted.
· Experience in construction or restoration setting preferred but not required.
· Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat).
· High degree of attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
