You'll support the Store Manager in all aspects of running a successful store, from coaching and mentoring our team members to ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for both customers and our in-store animals.

Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Delegate daily tasks to sales associates, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal productivity.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operations:
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, register management, and cash handling.
- Oversee bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and timely processing of store receipts.
Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and ensuring proper product organization.
- Monitor product levels and coordinate with the Store Manager on ordering and replenishment.
Customer Service & Sales:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships with customers.
- Support sales goals by promoting products, offering expert advice, and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
Animal Care:
- Ensure the well-being of our in-store animals, overseeing their feeding, watering, and habitat maintenance.
- Promote responsible pet care by educating customers and providing guidance on proper animal care practices.

- 2 Years of Retail Management Experience
