Stationary Engineer operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer works under moderate supervision. Our Application Engineers work closely with the SPIROL Sales Teams to understand a Customer's application and propose an unbiased technical solution which will meet the Customer's needs. The focus is on bridging Customer specifications, cost, assembly, and/or quality needs with SPIROL's product vision and production capabilities. After completing his/her primary responsibilities, the Application Engineer may also work on new product development and testing, or the generation of technical white papers.
