Daily duties and responsibilities
This is a representative list of the general duties the sales & lending associate may be asked to perform and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Communicate with all customers, staff and managers displaying respect and professionalism.
-Greet, interact, and qualify each customer to determine their individual needs.
- Effectively communicate to clients the procedure for pawning, selling, and buying merchandise
- Perform store open/close procedures (jewelry counts, firearm counts, etc.)
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Ability to handle difficult attitudes and situations without losing your cool
- Computer Literate, Basic Math, Photo Copying, Organizing
- Effectively negotiate loan amounts
-Perform buying, selling and loan transactions.
-Handle cash and keep a balanced drawer
-Handle all cash/debit transactions using company policies, procedures, and practices.
-Work in a team setting
-Stay focused in a high paced environment
-Able to lift up to 50lbs
-Able to remain standing for entire shift
-Desire to work with several retail categories of merchandise including jewelry, home entertainment, electronics, tools, and firearms.
