The RISK/HIM Clerk is responsible for gathering and assembling data, auditing for policy compliance, assembling medical records, analyzing discharged records, scan documents into EMR, assists staff in retrieving charts and file back after usage, making copies, loose filing, files records in to perm files, answers telephones, as well as other daily duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma required. Prefer applicant with Associates Degree in Health Information Management.

Experience:1-3 year medical records experience preferred.

License/ Certification: CCA or CPC preferred
