Stock Records Clerk, Sr. jobs in Fort Collins, CO

Full time medical records receptionist needed for a busy ophthalmology practice.

Experience in a medical office is required. The candidate must be dependable, have great interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, a strong attention to detail, superb communication skills (both written and verbal), be able to prioritize tasks and be comfortable working independently and in a team environment. This job requires critical thinking and decisive judgement. Must be able to work in fast paced environment and take appropriate action as needed.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Completing medical record requests both from other offices and insurance companies.
• Answering multiple phone lines, scheduling patients and assisting where needed.
• Preparing charts for the next day
• Filing and maintaining orderly and accurate charts in office. Including: scanning in patient notes, handwritten medication lists, outside prescriptions, prescription refill requests, etc.
• Prepares and notates, and keeps track of all outgoing referrals.
• Order supplies needed for fax and copy machine.
• Will be cross-trained to cover check in/out.

All positions have a Monday-Friday schedule with 30 minute lunches and we close early (1:00) on Fridays. 3 weeks combined paid pto and sick leave annually, uniform allowance and medical, dental and vision benefits.
