Job Description

The Stock Clerk at Perry Place is responsible for a comprehensive range of stockroom operations, including receiving, shipping, issuing, ordering, inventorying, and storing products, supplies, and equipment. This role involves verifying shipping and receiving documents, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper stock levels. The Stock Clerk also handles delivery services and utilizes computer systems for inventory tracking. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication skills for successful stockroom operations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a stockroom or warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management and procedures.
• Ability to safely handle deliveries and operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Experience with inventory reports, requisitions, invoices, and shipping logs.
• Competence in routine mathematical calculations related to inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with computers.
• Previous experience with calculators in stockroom procedures.
• Previous food service experience.
