Spero Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor / Counselor Supervisor to join our awesome team in Central Kentucky!

*** This position will require up to 75% travel to various clinic sites in Central Kentucky ***

This position is for a Clinical Supervisor / Counselor Supervisor who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment.  The Clinical Supervisor / Counselor Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Monitors and addresses SQI scores for assigned clinics. 
• Leads the Clinical Review process for patients receiving services is assigned clinics.
• Assists in the development, review, revision, and roll out of clinical policies and procedures, process flow and/or education materials
• Ensures quality management programs are in place and functional in the facilities
• Participates in the QA/QI meetings quarterly to ensure areas for improvement are addressed and appropriate action plan is formulated per policy and procedure
• Performs facility audits as indicated per audit policy and provide support in developing a plan of correction.
• Works with the Operations Team to ensure implementation and resolution of deficiencies
• Monitors state regulations to ensure Spero Health training programs meet or exceed requirements
• Provides continuing education and in-services/materials to teammates and patients to improve knowledge base and to meet regulatory and safety requirements on an as needed basis.
• Fosters a sense of urgency in teammates that promotes commitment to optimal clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance for the facility
• Assist/lead teammates with managing emergent situations with patients (SI, HI, DV, etc.). Provide individual support, as needed, referrals to other resources, etc.
• Provide direct clinical supervision, billing supervision as needed, for assigned counselors, RSS and PSS per state/accreditation regulations
• Coach teammates as necessary in treatment protocols, diagnostic and comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, interpretation, and formulation of service delivery
• Assist with staffing patterns of clinics, provide RSS and PSS supervision, ongoing training of current teammates, new teammate onboarding/training, in clinic patient care management
• Establishes clear objectives for teammates, communicates expectations with clarity and sets high standards of expectations for performance
• Assist in monthly operation review meetings in assigned clinics 

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• Education: Minimum, Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment working in a human-services setting, leadership experience preferred.
• License: LCSW, LPCC, LCADC
