Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $74,000.00 -$95,000.00

Summary: Seasoned accounting professional with strong computer skills, reconciliation and closing experience and possessing sufficient experience and skill for greater application of professional judgment. This position’s responsibilities will extend to and focus on budgeting and forecasting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following with other duties as assigned:

• Performs a wide variety of regular and recurring moderately complex accounting functions requiring full professional competency in accordance with GAAP.
• Does complex month end reconciliations, cost summaries, and journal entries as assigned.
• Prepares reports which include historical results, variances, forecasts, and/or financial trends to support management (operating results, budgeting, etc.) and external (government surveys, taxes, audits, etc.) reporting requirements.
• Tracks and gathers forecast inputs, trend analysis, modeling financial drivers, sensitivity analysis, risk assessment, cost accounting, etc. for budgeting and forecasting.
• Cross trained to perform AR / AP / Payroll.
• Implements and maintains effective internal controls.

Jamco Corp: Support inter company coordination as directed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Education and/or Experience: Position requires completion of relevant training such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 years’ experience or equivalent education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret standard business communication. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors, and employees. Ability to effectively present information to other employees including management.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form to perform established processes.

Physical Demands: Must be able to read physical and electronic records. Must be able to participate effectively in online meetings. Must be able to process paper records and operate office machinery such as stapler, printer / copier / scanner.
