Senior Systems Engineering Manager

    Overview:
    Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is hiring a motivated Senior Systems Engineering Manager to support to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in supporting our DoD customer in Colorado Springs.  This is part of a team that ensures the customer's ability to provide mission critical intelligence and successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.  

    Job Description/Tasks:  
    • The Senior Systems Engineer Manager (SSE) provides engineering IT expertise and technical leadership, overseeing application of approved processes, techniques, and tools across the implementation life cycle.
    • The SSE manages systems engineering and technical risks.
    • The SSE develops the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and is responsible for managing life cycle systems engineering activities and managing compliance with and enforcement of the approved SEP.
    Skills and Experience Required:
    • AI/Machine Learning Engineering
      • Training and evaluating machine learning models, particularly models for cybersecurity use cases
      • Machine Learning Development Environment (commercial version of determined.ai)
    • Software Integration Leadership:
      • Software engineers
      • Testing engineers
      • Network engineers
    • Agile PM Methodology
    • Scrum Master
    • Bachelor Degree (desired)
