    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supports and leads many tactics to advance the organization's strategic direction including the ongoing implementation of core initiatives and new models for growth.
    • Develops analytics and research required to profile regional hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and care continuum entities.
    • Leads the development of national/local environmental scans and related business cases to support pursuing potential acquisitions, partnerships, or other strategic partnerships.
    • Supports hospital and medical group strategies including development of analytics and business plans, market and competitor profiles, site selection and service offerings to enhance patient care access throughout the region.
    • Provides market intelligence, strategic growth opportunities and creative solutions to improve clinical program expansion to hospital and medical group leadership.
    • Exhibits dedication to treating both internal and external constituents as valued customers maintaining a flexible customer service approach and experience that emphasizes service satisfaction and quality


    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education

    • Seven years' experience

    Job Summary:

    This is NOT a remote position. Candidates must be located in the metro St. Louis, MO/Southern IL area or be willing to relocate for the role.

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven abilities in cross-collaboration, relationship building, physician/provider growth and outreach. Experience in business plan development, sourcing new referral avenues, partnership across numerous areas within the acute care hospital and ambulatory/medical group operations and leadership to drive improved continuity of care for patients and referral partners through SSM Health in Southern Illinois.  This leader will exude skill at navigating a matrixed health system, developing creative solutions to drive clinical program growth, lead with optimism and a positive demeanor and leverage the strengths of the collaborating leadership team to achieve regional goals.
