    Motion Technologies is one of four ITT Value Centers focused on the Transportation industry. The Motion Technologies Value Center generates over $862M in revenues and is made up of three businesses.

     

    Position Summary:

     

    The Account Manager is responsible for selling suspension products in Performance Light Truck, Overland, and Recreational Vehicle markets.

     

    Essential Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead new business development efforts to expand current customer base & distribution network
    • Conduct sales calls to existing accounts and retain by building effective long-term relationships.
    • Develop and implement marketing plan to drive brand awareness and achieve business objectives.
    • Attend / display at trade and consumer shows
    • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends to help drive business direction and new technical developments
    • Analyze, assess, and report to leadership monthly orders/sales.
    • Maintain a sales funnel to be reviewed monthly with leadership.

    Position Requirements

    Requirements:

    • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience selling into at least one of the following markets: Performance Light Truck, Overland, and / or Recreational Vehicle markets.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience is required.
    • Proactive sales and marketing professional who has experience selling technical products to both B2B and B2C customers
    • Entrepreneurial spirit is essential
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and web applications.
    • Experience in new business development
    • Experience managing multiple priorities and balancing workload in an efficient manner.
    • 50% travel with some weekend work is required
    • Ability to work remotely

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
