    As a Strategic Sales Manager you will be focused on advancing our Vision Screening & Diagnostics market presence within the Baxter - Front Line Care business unit. This individual will be focused specifically on Vision products, including RetinaVue & Spot Vision Screener and must display an entrepreneurial spirit. This individual will be tasked to achieve and assigned sales goals by identifying, developing, and closing profitable business opportunities with new and existing payers, mobile, emerging markets, and strategic accounts within the Northeast US region. This role includes identifying new markets potential, negotiating, and closing opportunities, while delivering clinical and operational outcomes. Collaboration in a matrixed sales organization, leveraging cross business unit communication and resources.

    • Home Base/Territory: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania (cutoff at Philadelphia)

    • Travel: Travel within region up to 75%, overnights as needed

    What you'll be doing

    • Must be able to command the executive presence both internally and externally by articulating larger value proposition across the Vision Screening & Diagnostics product portfolio.

    • Drive overall revenue attainment goals across assigned accounts and markets.

    • Develop and implement sales strategies that deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.

    • Responsible for developing and maintaining executive level relationships with all key decision makers and influencers in each assigned strategic account and markets.

    • Responsible for the development of the account plan and the overall account strategy to include all internal stakeholders including matrix relationships.

    • Assess account needs and analyze customer data and prepare plans in partnership with field sales and other commercial resources to optimize customer satisfaction and overall business goals.

    What you'll bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

    • 5 years of experience in a strategic or corporate sales role, preferably in the medical sales arena.

    • Familiarity with Payors and Value Based Care is a plus

    • Experience successfully developing and negotiating contractual agreements.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with dedicated experience with C-Suite sales and strategic/national accounts.

    • Understanding and experience with technical sales – specifically health care EMR.

    • Demonstrated ability to sell solutions.

    • Knowledge of sales forecasting and familiarity with sales enablement tools – Salesforce.com, MS Teams, PowerBI.

    • Outstanding analytical, communication, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, technical, facilitation, and presentation skills.

    • Strategic thinking.

    • Proven track record to drive internal change with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and grow sales.

    • Creates and executes strategy, delivering significant top-tier results consistently.

    We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $180,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and long-term incentive.
