Prepares parts for assembly by filing, burring, crimping, framing, drilling, and reaming. Being a Structural Assembler receives detailed written and verbal instructions on all work. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Structural Assembler typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Structural Assembler works under moderate supervision.     • Perform hand measuring, drilling, reaming, countersinking, and rivet removal.
    • Install solid and mechanically locking fasteners.
    • Use shop aids and tooling to locate assemblies.
    • Perform electrical bonding, grounding, and sealant application.
    • Occasionally be tasked to work with engineering and other support groups to Identify nonconforming parts and resolve production issues.
