The purpose of this position is to assemble quality surgical Instruments while adhering to prescribed standards. Able to polish/deburr instruments and make adjustments to most components.
Responsibilities:
- Able to assemble most mechanical components while following prescribed assembly techniques and within assigned time standards and quality standards.
- Able to polish/finish exterior of instrument
- Able to make adjustments to instrument to ensure that it is working properly.
- Deburring.
- Able to QC work of self and others.
- Aware of practices and processes utilizing current management tools
Requirements:
- Good hand eye coordination
- Experience using microscopes with tweezers for assembling tiny components as small as grain of sand/rice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended period of time.
