Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the structural design process for industrial, commercial, and residential projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations using appropriate software and tools to determine the integrity, stability, and load-bearing capacity of various structures.
• Prepare comprehensive design plans, specifications, and reports, including drawings, detailing, and construction documents.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, supporting their professional development and growth.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure the firm's designs remain cutting-edge and compliant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for the state of MO.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial, commercial, and residential design.
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM Structural System) and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ACI, AISC, IBC, and ASCE 7.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
