Student Union Manager manages the operations of the Student Union in accordance with the university or college's policies and procedures. Responsible for managing all functions including coordinating facility use, administering student services and activities, and ensuring proper safety and security measures. Being a Student Union Manager supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates professional and student staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Union Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Union Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Student Union Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and controlling all operations of the Member Solutions Department. Oversees all collections functions including the control of loan and credit accounts that are late, potentially delinquent, delinquent, or charged off. Assists in the resolution of difficult and complex member account situations. Responsible for collateral, repossessions, and the disposition of repossessed Credit Union assets. Performs periodic evaluation of collections policies and procedures and modifies as needed. Ensures that established policies, procedures, and legal requirements are followed. Coordinates activities, ensuring that all subordinate areas of responsibility support Credit Union objectives. Trains, directs, and appraises personnel. Ensures that services are delivered professionally and efficiently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Equivalent to a two-year business-related college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
