Student Union Manager manages the operations of the Student Union in accordance with the university or college's policies and procedures. Responsible for managing all functions including coordinating facility use, administering student services and activities, and ensuring proper safety and security measures. Being a Student Union Manager supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates professional and student staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Union Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Union Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Student Union Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Your purpose -The Branch Experience Manager places members at the center of our universe, and makes members feel valued and impressed with how easy it was to accomplish their goals. Impart strategic thought and foresight for long-term planning and success and communicate those directly with Senior Management and department leaders.     A Day in the life of a Branch Experience Manager:

    Although each day will be a different adventure in this role, here's a snapshot of what a day could look like:

    • Have a huddle with your team and serve as role model, championing, training, and holding staff accountable for living up to the Four Measures of Member Obsession.
    • Ensure that staff use systems to accurately serve members and maintain records, including core banking, CRM and other workflow tools.
    • Plan and direct branch operations to pass all audits, mystery shops, and organizational objectives in alignment with strategic plan.
    • Write, edit, and/or communicate all physical location procedures.
    • Meet with Branch Staff to coach them and discuss their aspirations for growth and identify areas that they can work closely with you to prepare for the next step!
    • Send a Solarian Salute for a member of your team that went above and beyond for one of our members by constantly looking at transactions through their member-obsession lens.

    • 3 years of progressive experience in financial institution operations.
    • 2 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience working in an environment focused on rapid growth and quick change.
    • Bachelor's degree in business and or related field preferred.
