Subrogation Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the department which processes subrogation claims according to established standards and schedules. Oversees the evaluation of subrogation claims and recovery of overpayments for duplicate coverage, workers' compensation, and no-fault claims. Being a Subrogation Manager develops and maintains efficient other party liability and coordination of benefits systems. May be responsible for hiring, training, and firing staff. Additionally, Subrogation Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Subrogation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Responsibilities:

    Role:

    • Build understanding and knowledge of the clients’ business and their challenging and rapidly shifting competitive environments
    • Support the Account Leader in building strategic public relations programs
    • Lead day-to-day execution of the public relations program. Develop and manage timelines, and weekly action plans, and supporting team members to ensure all deadlines on client programs are met 
    • Maintain regular contact with clients and media; proactively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs
    • Coordinate media relations campaigns, identifying story angles, overseeing list and pitch development, and working directly with media day to day 
    • Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including beautifully designed presentations, compelling press releases, concise fact sheets, key messages, social media content and actionable pitch letters
    • Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership for issues specific to assigned programs

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in PR
    • Experience building and enhancing relationships with clients from day-to-day to most senior levels within the organization
    • Strong PR skills including earned media strategy development, story ideation and pitching, as well as experience in or familiarity with strategic communications disciplines including thought leadership, crisis communications and internal communications
    • Existing media relationships with a diverse set of media contacts in sports, business or lifestyle
    • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation-development skills; project management skills; and consultative skills
    • An entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative attitude
    • Accountability and a drive to achieve results
    • Experience managing multiple large-scale projects/programs simultaneously

    • Knowledge and passion for the game of golf and sports overall
    • Experience with with golf media and industry a plus, but not required
    • Experience with media monitoring and project management software a plus, not required
