Position Summary: Responsible for daily supervision of the Legal department, monitoring and supporting the litigation process for subrogation claims against responsible parties. The Legal Supervisor possess a high level of experience, expertise, and knowledge of subrogation. They must be able to facilitate change and promote a positive team attitude, while effectively responding to unexpected challenges or demands.

Technical/Functional Responsibilities:

• Manage the team of remote staff to ensure tasks are completed and performance expectations are met
• Responsible for maintaining Latitude's national attorney network and collection vendor, acting as liaison for claim questions, paying expenses, reporting and analysis
• Payment agreement oversight
• Performs other duties as necessary

Behavioral Competencies:

• Expansive knowledge of subrogation as it relates to litigation on lines of P&C insurance, including Uninsured, PIP, Carrier, Dual Coverage and Medical Payments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills while interacting and communicating with clients, vendors, external and internal parties
• Ability to accurately and efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficient, including experience with Microsoft Suite
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with limited direction

• Dedication to providing a high level of customer service to internal and external parties
• Well organized to track commitments and ensure tasks are completed according to deadline
• Ability to recognize and solve problems and implement solutions

Required Qualifications:

• 5 plus years experience in insurance industry
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous related experience in a supervisory role
• Employment is contingent upon the employee maintaining adequate bandwidth for their home Internet as determined by Latitude's IT department

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSRP Designation
• Juris Doctorate
