Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) partners with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements. Additionally, Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. About the Position: The Executive Director for the Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK will develop & implement all phases of management, administrative & clinical policies & procedures for the operation of a large inpatient forensic behavioral health facility. OFC has approximately 268 inpatient beds, housing persons who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. In addition, OFC provides outpatient evaluations of adjudicative competency for 14 counties. In addition, this position will oversee the expansion of the facility to meet the demands of inpatient competency restoration.Job Type/Salary:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:- Master’s degree or other advanced graduate degree in Health Services Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related administrative, legal, or behavioral health field
- AND five years administrative experience in mental health services to include program oversight and development or administrative experience within a mental health facility
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preference may be given to candidates holding licensure in a qualified behavioral health field.
