Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain Insights and Value Creation to drive transformational customer-facing projects. Projects will be based on innovative insights and advanced analytics services, to identify opportunities in customer supply chains against customer's business objectives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sizable, high-profile, global strategic customers of DHL Supply Chain, ensuring seamless logistics solutions and fostering long-term partnerships to drive mutual growth and success. Your responsibilities will include managing complex end-to-end supply chain projects, optimizing efficiency, and unlocking holistic value to meet the dynamic needs of our prestigious customers.
Responsibilities
· Builds up relationship and trust with C-level stakeholders within DHL and on customer side to assess customer supply chain and uses consultative selling skills to position transformational value opportunities.
· Takes ownership on promoting products such as Insights as a service & consulting to the NORAM customer base - proactively push innovative service offering into the market.
· Builds strong relationship to DSC 3PL sales community to drive upselling of LLP as well as integrated solutions (LLP 3PL) and partner value initiatives (3PL growth) through Insights engagement.
· Leverages vast own supply chain experience, newest trends on digitalization, ESG etc. to bring in game-changing improvement ideas for customer's supply chain.
· Translates identified transformational opportunities into an analytical approach for validation and links it to the orchestration of micro service scope for value quantification.
· Works with broad stakeholder landscape (LLP Sales, Solutions Design, data scientists, DSC and other divisions) to build comprehensive business case for identified transformational opportunities.
· Closely collaborates with regional Value Creation Teams to embed Insights solution in the way of working.
· Takes ownership in initiating commercial agreements with customers to broaden definition of value.
· Drives gain share methodology into the NORAM LLP community by creating attractive business cases allowing for more risk taking.
· Drives global strategy around gain share and holistic value quantification within the NorAm Lead Logistics Provider / SCO.
· Engages in cross-team collaboration to generate business cases to be presented to customer for Orchestration Services (SOAR, Integrated Supply Forecasting, Digital Twin) for faster scale -up of Orchestration.
· Identifies opportunities to build and pilot new micro service in collaboration with product development.
