Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     • The Supply Chain Specialist operates under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager and/or Supply Chain Supervisor Perioperative Services: a member of the Perioperative Services department’s SCM team.
    • This position is responsible for the overall management of inventory in assigned unit(s) as it relates to supply replenishment, maximization of quality, minimization of costs and support of department goals within system supply chain objectives.
    • Responsible for having a working knowledge of the product lines under the purview of the Perioperative Services department.
    • Supports department to ensure existing inventory and associated expenses are within budgeted targets.
    • Responsible for ensuring consumable supplies are accurately controlled to reduce obsolescence, outdates and waste within the assigned unit(s); this is accomplished through the maintenance of appropriate inventory levels based on PAR Optimization utilization calculations, product rotation; outdate management and ongoing communications with both the customer and Supply Chain Management team. Responsible for all replenishment orders, managing returns, recalls and product conversions within areas of assigned responsibility to include, proper supply levels, labeling and changes in Lawson.
    • Coordinates and performs scheduled physical inventories of assigned areas within the Perioperative Services department and works with the Supply Chain Management team and Perioperative Services department management to analyze outcomes and adjust inventory levels as appropriate.
    • Print preference cards for schedule cases.
    • Pull supplies and instrumentation for all surgical cases.

    Qualifications

    In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    • 2 years Supply Chain Management experience required.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
    • Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Lawson ERP experience, preferred
    • HS/GED required
    • CMRP preferred

    Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)

     

    Schedule: Monday – Friday 9a-5:30p
