Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This position will support activities for agricultural supply chain team. Will also work with clients and vendors. Take responsibility for small to medium projects, which include multiple components with milestones and deadlines. This position will be based in Champaign, IL. Can be remote for the right candidate, but must be located in IL or IA. This role requires experience in using SAP or similar tools to provide analysis and ongoing coordination/management of inventory to ensure schedules for across dozens of seed production sites.
Will consider recent graduates with a desire to gain experience in supply chain and agriculture. Microsoft Office experience, including mid-level in Excel, formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables, etc. Preferred expertise in SAP tools (or similar systems) including but not limited to COOISPI, Ordercockpit, ZUMBE, YSeed200, MMBE and others.
