Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Job Summary:
Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for approx. $10million in inventory at multiple locations across the U.S. This responsibility requires accurate historical data analysis, thorough compilation/analysis of current market data, and effective communication with international suppliers to be successful. This is a critical role, interacting with domestic/international suppliers, Plant Managers, Sales Managers, Supply Chain Manager as well as other internal corporate staff to ensure every Lionshead location is able to successfully serve the customer.
