What We Need:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our HBF Team in Hickory, NC!

Supply Chain Analyst performs advanced business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining. Works closely with internal or external clients to identify analytical requirements. Will handle special analytical projects such as transportation cost modeling, distribution cost modeling, demand planning optimization on cost initiatives and implementation validation plans. May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project defined as supportive data and/or analytics which identify the project and progress to completion.

What You Will Do:

• Assist all internal supply chain and external departments with their data analysis needs
• Assists IT with the development of SQL views, stored procedures, and queries for reports
• Create Excel and ERP Reports
• Reviews and analyzes detailed data and makes recommendations to improve Supply Chain Logistics operations.

What You Have:

• 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Functional use and knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience working with internal and external customers with an emphasis on providing superior customer service
• Project management experience

• 5 years of experience in the following; Microsoft SQL server stack, SSMS – SQL Server Management Studio , SSRS – SQL Server Reporting Service, ERP Business Systems Experience, SQL 2008/2012/2016 Query Building.
• Project Management and Supply Chain certifications are preferred

• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Expert in Microsoft Office Products with with an emphasis on Excel, PPT and Word
