Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Assist in design, development, and implementation of data gathering and analysis tools and processes. Recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of Supply Chain operations. Work cross-functionally with Ferguson departments to define standard operational procedures in support of creating a positive vendor partnership Create and deliver training in live, recorded, and written formats Oversee a significant Supply Chain process or function and manage all aspects of executing said process or function. Educate others throughout the organization on Supply Chain management and its impact on roles and collective opportunities. Act as a liaison cross functionally to ensure tasks are completed on time Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management. Performs other related duties as requested by management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect operational reporting to identify areas of focus Proficient in analysis and reporting Strong intuition for business and critical thinking skills Strong verbal and written communication skills are required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Strong judgment and decision-making ability Possess intermediate MS Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint skills Able to work both independently and in a team environment Able to manage priorities and get tasks accomplished in a timely and efficient manner Highly motivated and customer service oriented individual Ferguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
