Supply Chain Director jobs in Los Angeles, CA
Supply Chain Director directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Being a Supply Chain Director negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing. Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements. Additionally, Supply Chain Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Supply Chain Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Supply Chain Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Lead, manage, and scale the planning/buying team
- Inventory accuracy at both sites
- Collaborate with broader operations, sourcing teams and CMOs in Japan and India
- Support continuous improvement in the EHS management system.
- Implementing improvements in areas such as cGMP training, core competencies, technical skills, safety, and performance management.
- Continuous improvement of NetSuite ERP
- Establish, evaluate, and report on KPIs
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $125,000.00 - $138,000.00 per year
