    Job Description Overview:

    As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within our organization. Under the direction of the Supervisor – Supply Chain, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory processes to ensure efficient operations, minimize stock shortages, and prevent excess inventory. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining organized remote warehouse operations and conducting inventory counts, as required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Effectively manage and maintain remote inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and stockouts
    • Utilize inventory management systems to track inventory movements, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies
    • Analyze inventory data and trends to forecast demand, identify slow-moving items, and recommend appropriate actions
    • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and accurate recording of inventory
    • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures cross-departmentally to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
    • Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights into stock levels, turnover rates, and forecasting data
    • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to streamline inventory management operations

    Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of experience in inventory management or related roles in natural gas compressor industry
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

    Minimum Education and Certification:

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
