    We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner II to help us managing complex problems and tasks in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. As a Trex Supply Chain Planner II, you will be looked to as an innovator and expected to build the production schedule and maintain inventory in our ERP system. This role is a key member of our Supply Chain team.

     

    DUTIES

    • Manage raw material ordering to ensure adequate supply for the manufacturing schedule.
    • Support cycle counts and research to resolve discrepancies in the ERP system.
    • Coordinate transportation of materials with consideration for just-in-time delivery and space constraints.
    • Manage the conversion of the supply plan to a master production schedule.
    • Balance sales order fulfillment with manufacturing efficiency.
    • Implement and measure schedule adherence for root cause analysis.
    • Partnering with quality, engineering and R&D to ensure materials placed on hold are efficiently evaluated for release or scrap to meet sales order requirements.
    • Collaborate with engineering and R&D to manage project work and trial requirements within the production schedule.
    • Identify and implement process improvements for working capital and production efficiency.

     

    EXPERIENCE

    A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in supply chain or operations is required.  If you’ve worked as a production planner or supply chain analyst, you’re Trex material for sure. Have experience with ERP and MRP systems? You’ll fit in just fine.
