Supply Chain Analyst

Based in Martinsville, VA with administrative offices in High Point, NC, domestic production facilities in Hickory, NC and Bedford, VA and distribution warehouses in Martinsville, VA, Savannah, GA, Hooker Furniture is ranked among the nation’s largest publicly traded furniture sources. Hooker Furniture also operates multiple showrooms in High Point, NC, Atlanta, GA, and Las Vegas NV, and administrative offices in Vietnam and China.
The Position:
We are looking for an analytical and data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to assist our team in the stewardship of the S&OP processes for designated brands and work to ensure all objectives for the process are achieved each monthly cycle. This role is a full-time position based out of our High Point, NC or Martinsville, VA office.
Main duties include but not limited to:
Review Preparation
- Be the primary resource for assembly of the various S&OP documents for the reviews.
- Collect and report our KPI dashboard information.
- Capture gap closure initiatives with owners and due dates.
- Coordinate with the overseas team on supply and demand related data needed for the reviews.
- Develop and publish graphs and other visual tools for high-level S&OP topics.
- Send review documentation to stakeholders 48 hours in advance of reviews.
- Take attendance for reviews and communicate minutes post review to stakeholders.
- Maintain S&OP archive files for historical records.
Action Item Capture and Tracking
- Notate actions items during the various review and store them in a centralized area.
- During the reviews capture action item owners and due dates.
- Communicate upcoming action items to owners and seek updates.
- Report during the S&OP reviews past due action items.
- Maintain accurate action item status.
S&OP Calendar Administrator, back up, and feedback.
- Ensure that reviews are properly spaced and planned 12 months in advance.
- Field any change requests and seek out feasibility prior to making any changes in the calendar schedule.
- Assist with the onboarding of additional brands into the S&OP process.
- Serve as back up in the event administration coverage is needed for a process review.
- Serve as a backup as a supply chain data analyst as needed.
- Collect process feedback in the form of periodic surveys for process improvement.
Candidates that will be a great fit will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience with S&OP or Integrated Business Planning process a plus.
- Must have critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work at an advanced level with MS Excel.
- Ability to travel to our regional offices and to the semi-annual High Point Furniture Market
