Job Purpose: Coordinates and organizes all supply chain activities in the production of goods, including sourcing, inventory controls, delivery, supplier performance, and costing of all materials. Departmental - Works with other departments to identify and maintain resources to provide an effective supply chain.
- Establishes KPI to measure the effectiveness of the supply chain and suppliers.
- Establishes and maintains inventory control policies at all sites.
- Establishes and maintains all cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Establishes required inventory positions of supplies and materials at each site to support production while minimizing on-hand inventory levels.
- Develops processes throughout the supply chain, as needed, to maintain compliance with ISO 9001
- Negotiates prices for materials and deliveries with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- For critical materials, strategic sources to provide continuous supplies to sustain operations through validated multiple sources.
- Leads business continuity efforts as it relates to the supply chain.
- Provides sourcing, costing, and delivery as part of the new product development process.
- Supports and coordinates design changes, product line extension, and new product launches.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers through both delivery and quality based KPI.
- Implements and sustains a Supply & Operational Planning process through a balanced supply and demand forecast for a rolling 12-month period.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education: - Preferred to have a bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain management, Operations management, or related field. However, experience overrides education.
- At least 3-5 years in Supply Chain with experience in the key areas of strategic sourcing, inventory management, and new product launch support.
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer
- Occasional prolonged standing on a concrete floor
