ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.

Ahoskie, NC is ideally located an hour from the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and two hours from Raleigh, Richmond, Williamsburg, and the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. Ahoskie offers a moderate cost of living, a strong sense of community, and a temperate climate and location to support a variety of year round outdoor activities, such as boating, kayaking, hunting, fishing, hiking, and golf.

Position Summary

The Manager of Supply Chain Management oversees and manages the supply chain and logistics operations.

As the Manager, you will be required to:

• Demonstrated ability to manage, teach, make independent decisions and assume responsibility

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written

• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff

• Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability to function as a leader, team member and execute the desired outcomes

• Must exhibit creative, positive problem-solving abilities

• Ability to foster collaboration between multiple parties

• Ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups

• Ability to think conceptually and apply concepts in a practical application

• Ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze information, and determines a course of action

• Ability to consider diverse opinions and incorporate them into the decision-making process

• Proven track record of implementing organization-wide projects

• Commitment to a high standard of customer service

• Excellent budget and financial management skills

• Maintain a good working relationship with vendors and distributors

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain

Other Information

• 40 hours a week

• Days (Monday - Friday)
