Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator jobs in Augusta, GA
Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator is responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing. Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Being a Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. This position requires prolonged standing, Must be able to work ALL shifts. This position will be Temp-Hire and the pay is based on your skillset and experience.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Inspect machine and make machine adjustments.
- Set machine counter at beginning of each shift.
- Verify correct raw materials and correct identification numbers are being used.
- Place finished product boxes on pallets.
- Notify the material handler to change materials as necessary.
- Verify correct material is loaded after each roll changed.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Turn machine off when maintenance activities are being performed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
