Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator is responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing. Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Being a Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Positions include Embroidery Machine Operators (training is provided), Specialty Stitch Embroidery Operator, Sewing Machine Operators and Laser Operators.
The Day Shift runs Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Swing Shift runs Monday-Thursday, 3:20 pm to 1:50 am.
Once trained, employees qualify for an increase in wage.
