Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Position Summary
The Burn Table Operator tends to the fabricating machine to cut, shape and bend structural plates by performing the following duties. This position is deemed safety sensitive due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee s co-workers, and/or the public at large.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent with three months related experience and/or training. Must have ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software. Must have ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Demands
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand, occasionally required to sit; must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally. Exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures and risk of electrical shock. Noisy work environment. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
