Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Burn Boot Camp Chesapeake is looking for Part time Child Care Team Member s available for:
- morning shifts (8:15am to 10:30am) and/or
- evening (4:15pm to 6:30pm) plus
- rotating Saturdays (8:15am-10:00am)
Duties:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in a 45 minute daycare style setting.
- Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to promote childhood development.
- Supervise children during playtime
- Provide basic caregiving tasks such as games, crafts, and play.
- Manage children's behavior and promote positive social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required. Additional certifications in early childhood education are desirable.
