Job Description:
The Transplant Assistant (TA) is responsible for coordinating transplant and non-transplant referrals, appointments, evaluations, and other testing in collaboration with the transplant coordinators and managers within the center. The TA is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED - Required
Familiarity with medical terminology - Required
Experience in registration or patient care in a hospital or physician office setting - Preferred
Proficiency in computer software (Word, email, and EHR) and customer service experience - Preferred
