Surgeon - Pediatric jobs in Washington
Surgeon - Pediatric examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats children from the newborn stage through late adolescence. Treats a wide variety of problems children may have, which may include appendicitis, hernias, cancer, or a serious congenital anomaly. Being a Surgeon - Pediatric reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Pediatric may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Surgeon - Pediatric's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

MultiCare Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital is searching for an excellent Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon 1.0 FTE to join our well-established, thriving and new comprehensive practice located in Puyallup. Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital is an advanced regional care and referral center for Southwest Washington serving more than 13 referring hospitals over 9 counties and backed by fully staffed services 24/7. Mary Bridge supports a level IV NICU, and comprises of a PICU, trauma service, and a full complement of pediatric subspecialties.
