Surgical Neurophysiologist performs testing and monitoring of the nervous system during surgery to assist the surgeons in avoiding or reducing complications such as paralysis, hearing loss, or stroke. Conducts Electroencephalograms, Electromyographies, Somatosensory Evoked Potentials, Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials, direct nerve testing, and other modalities intraoperatively, and communicates findings to the operating room team. Being a Surgical Neurophysiologist typically requires a bachelor's degree in related area. Requires Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) from the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, have a positive disposition and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
This position is responsible for the front desk operations of our clinic. Duties include: greeting and processing patients, answering phones, data entry into EMR system, scheduling appointments, working with other clinics and ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
