We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Ciellie Solar Survey Technician.

As a Ciellie Solar Survey Technician, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys and gathering data to assist in the design and installation of solar systems. This role allows you to set your own days, hours and travel radius. You can work whenever you please, so it is a great opportunity for those seeking supplemental income with a flexible schedule. A Ciellie Solar Survey Technician travels to residential/commercial project sites around the state in a 50-150mi radius to complete survey data collection in support of solar design/installations. You provide the times that work for you, and you will be assigned surveys accordingly. If you are hands-on, enjoy being independent, and exploring new areas - you will be a great fit at Ciellie.

Please read the requirements below before applying:

• Must have drivers license
• Must have FAA Part 107 License, be working on it, or are willing to obtain one
• Must have a vehicle to make it to survey assignments
• Must own a drone
• Must be willing to get on roofs

As a Ciellie Field Technician, your role is to collect the following data:

• Drone Flight images (minimum of 200 jpg images), therefore drone experience is expected
• Exterior meter images and contextual photos of the site itself
• Photos of the MSP/Breaker Panel
• External and Sub-Panel images (as necessary)
• Attic/Truss photos- including those exhibiting accurate measurements of top chord (rafter) spacing/height/width
• Notes on the Map of the site with a key to locations of above mentioned

Responsibilities

• Operate drone to capture roof and area photos (minimum of 200 jpg images per site)
• Use ladders as needed to enter into attics or access roofs
• Use hand tools to perform cuts into drywall as needed to measure rafters in inaccessible attics
• Capture photos of the electrical meter and service panels
• Handle basic interactions with homeowners in a polite & professional manner
• Upload deliverables to shared cloud storage in a timely manner
• Conduct site surveys independently, travel from your own home

Skills & Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is an asset) in a timely manner
• Construction, handyman, or similar experience is an asset
• Customer service skills (or similar) are an asset
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Mobile phone with internet capability is needed to upload images on site
• Consistent access to a mobile phone for communication while performing surveys on the road
• Must be physically capable of climbing onto roofs, into attics, and up and down stairs as needed
• Owning your own drone is a major asset, but not a necessity

Please note- There is no consideration for re-location for this position.

Pay: $75.00 - $225.00 per day
