    We are searching for a passionate, organized, and operations-minded individual who wants to make a difference in mitigating the foodservice industry’s impact on our climate.

    In this position, you will play a crucial role in advancing our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

    Your primary objective is to support the development, implementation, and measurement of sustainability initiatives & strategies, such as reducing food waste, single-use plastics, and carbon, while maintaining alignment with our company's values.

    Success Criteria

    • Assist in the development, planning, execution, and measurement of multiple key sustainability strategies, initiatives, projects, and pilots
    • Work directly with culinary & operations teams to analyze data and develop site-specific strategies, inspiring and influencing teams to drive change and develop better habits
    • Host team calls to review data, status updates, and align on action items and next steps for projects and initiatives, providing frequent communication with status updates, action items, or roadblocks that may impact timelines
    • Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
    • Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client company

    Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

    • Collect, organize, analyze, and identify trends from various sustainability and procurement data sets
    • Present data analysis, trends, new ideas and strategies in a comprehensive and effective manner to high-level stakeholders & partners
    • Support the broader organization’s sustainability initiatives
    • Proactively identifies and approaches challenges, gaps, and roadblocks with a collaborative mindset, seeking support from manager and relevant stakeholders as needed to develop appropriate solutions

    Ideal Candidate Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 5 years operational foodservice experience, or other sustainability field
    • Project management experience
    • Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in Google suite, Microsoft Office
    • Strong analytical / financial aptitude. Ability to gather data, assess situations and quickly develop solutions
    • High level of business etiquette, social & situational awareness
    • Highly organized, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, that is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
    • Enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and adaptable to dynamic situations
    • Successful experience working with colleagues in a matrix organization
    • Passion for food and sustainability. Willing to learn new aspects.
