Swab Rig Operator is responsible for operation of the swab rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the swab rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Being a Swab Rig Operator maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Additionally, Swab Rig Operator may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The Swab Rig Operator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Swab Rig Operator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Description
Work with and communicate with entire production crew. Build knowledge of production operation, learn how to operator equipment at desired rates and with minimum downtown. Communicate with crews, supervisors, and leads about production, quality, and safety issues.

· Ability to learn other jobs and fill in when needed.
· Learn and operate machinery.
· Help perform changeovers.
· Must have the ability to learn and operate some of the following equipment (Including but not limited to)
o Strapper, brick machine, robots, dehacker, dehacker forkhead and unloading forklift.
· Ability and willingness to help throughout the Plant where needed.
· Must be able to work as a team player.
· Meet production quotas which will be discussed in detail.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
· Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly.
· Must wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times in required areas (Including but not limited to):
o Hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes.
· Ability and willingness to follow all required policies and procedures throughout the plants for production, quality, and safety.
Work Schedules
Multiple Work Schedules Depending on Plant and Department. Some examples of schedules are as follows, but will vary depending on production, department, and plant:
· 2-2-3 Schedule, 12 hour shifts with mandatory overtime as needed for production.
· 5 day schedule Mon - Fri, day shift / night shift, generally 8 hours per day with mandatory overtime as needed for production.
Pay
Many factors come into play with pay such as position, department, and experience. Pay will be discussed during interview process, but as a general rule we offer an hourly rate plus incentive.
