Switchboard Operator jobs in Illinois

Operates a switchboard system to relay incoming, outcoming, and inter-office calls. Accurately screens, identifies and places incoming and outgoing calls. Requires ability to function calmly under stress in order to respond to emergency calls, codes, and alarms.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

1-2 years of switchboard experience is preferred.

1-2 years of switchboard or clerical experience is preferred.
